The advantages of an electric fleet: Compared to conventional combustion engines, an electric motor emits neither emissions nor pollutants - this is a desirable development, especially for the environment.

Renewable energy


Our latest contribution to making our world more sustainable is renewable energy. The realization of a solar roof on our production building at the Bad Säckingen site is in full swing.

Water dispensers in the company


A balanced water balance is the basis for a healthy lifestyle and full performance. A water dispenser in the office is a convenient and always accessible solution for daily water supply. A disposable plastic bottle weighs about 35 g. If you consume at least 1.5 L of water per working day, this results in a saving of about 8 kg of plastic waste per employee per year.

Digital business card


With the digital business card, GLASKÖCHLIN has a sustainable alternative to paper ones. With our digital business cards, we can exchange contact details quickly and easily via NFC technology. This not only saves material and therefore resources. It also saves space in wallets, where digital technology in the form of NFC-based bank and credit cards has long since found its way into them.
The digital business card has a lifespan of 18-24 months. After the life cycle of the business card is over, it can be easily recycled.

Our heat-insulating glass not only reduces energy consumption in the cold season. In times of increasing heat waves, solar protection glass is indispensable. It ensures comfort indoors when the outside temperature is high and reduces or even eliminates the need for air conditioning.

Sustainable products


Glass is not only timelessly beautiful, but also particularly environmentally friendly. Glass is a natural material: its raw materials such as quartz sand, soda or dolomite are available as basic materials on earth. Insulating glass is energy-intensive to produce. But once used in a building, its energy-saving potential is so high that the production costs are quickly amortized. Based on an average service life of around 30 years, the energy balance of our window and facade glass is clearly positive.

We focus on waste prevention both in production and in the office and, wherever possible, waste is recycled.
